Where To Take Your Kids This School Holidays

The December school holidays are here! YAY for the kids but OH NO for the parents.

If it’s all up to the kids, they would be glued to the iPads or mobile phones from breakfast to bedtime. No, you obviously do not want that. So it’s on you to plan an itinerary of fun activities that get their cute little butts off the couch. But what can you do in Singapore? Don’t tear your hair out just yet, leave that for spending 24/7 with kids of endless energy. We’ve round up some to-dos to help you fill the list.

If you can’t keep up, then tire them out! You will thank yourself later, and your kids will love you too.

Every kid loves to jump around, so with around 28 interconnected trampolines, tumble tracks and banked walls, BOUNCE Singapore is literally a giant playground where they can freely bounce from one end to the other. Got a group of kids? Engage them in a game of dodgeball. Super fun and super safe as the balls are soft and the “grounds” too. We assure you, the kids will not be stopping at just one game.

For the older kids, the X-Park, an adventure challenge course, similar to that in Ninja Warrior will challenge them with circuits of various difficulty levels, allowing for personal progression and creative expression.

What’s best about BOUNCE Singapore is the thoughtful cafe for Mums to chill out or catch-up while their kids bounce away.

First-in-Singapore from Russia, Amazing Castle introduces a series of games that are never-seen-before in Singapore! The games challenges both your kids’ agility and intellect.

Our favorite is FREEZE, a game resembling a giant board game that challenges our memory. The goal is to remember and repeat the order the tiles are lighted up by stepping on them. The kids will absolutely love SEVENTH HEAVEN which they’ll have to navigate through a giant ball pit, racing against time.

The games are highly immersive and colourful, looking as though its right out from a storybook.

What we love, this new concept will be a refreshing new experience for the kids. Instead of the usual arcade games, these games are fun but yet test the kids mentally as well.

It’s hard to get your kids to help out with the chores at home or in preparation of meals, but somehow in a group setting, this activity seems a whole lot more fun.

Collin’s® is offering pizza and pasta workshops where your little one can get hands-on rolling the dough, folding the pastas or adding toppings to their very own pizza.

The workshops come complete with little chef hats and aprons and aren’t they cute in their outfits with flour on the tip of their noses? You can give them a hand, or snap away as a proud parent!

Call or WhatsApp Collin’s® at +65 8787 5456 to register your little chef now!

This is possibly one of the cheapest entertainment option for the kids. Yes, you’ve heard it right. With the super attractive Student Privileges offered at Cathay Cineplexes, your kid can watch a movie for as low as just $5! You can’t even get that with a fast food meal these days.

Your kid won’t go hungry too as they can munch on popcorn, nuggets and drinks all at a discounted price. Check out HERE for more details.

The year end movie line-up means you will be hanging out at the cinemas pretty often. First up, the highly anticipated Disney’s Frozen 2 that is opening on 21 November. Can you believe it? The first installment was released in 2013, and the kids are still smitten till today. So as much as the song may drive you nuts, this is a must-watch.

Jumanji : The Next Level is back on the big screens this December, the same date when Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon is opening, 12 December, and finally end the year with Spies In Disguise opening on Christmas Day for a good laugh before it’s back to school again.
