#ABCDBattle2017 All-Boys Category To Turn Up The Heat
The fiercest and biggest all-female dance competition, All-Babes Cineleisure Dance Battle (ABCD), is back for its 7th edition and upping its game with the introduction of its first-ever All-Boys Group Category to the competition!
With what is going to be the biggest dance battle of the year, both male and female dance solo acts and groups will hit the stage to showcase their dancing prowess and prove if they have what it takes to be crowned dance champions.
Dance enthusiasts are required to take part in a video audition before 27 August 2017, 11.59pm. Comprising of three key categories – All-Babes Solo, All-Babes Group and All-Boys Group – participants are required to upload a two-minute dance video on YouTube and submit that link on the official website.
Shortlisted dance acts from the All-Babes Solo and All-Babes Group categories will then compete in the semi-final live rounds held at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, Basement 1 on 23 September 2017. Following that, qualifying dance acts from the respective All-Babes Solo, All-Babes Group and All-Boys Group categories will battle it out in the final live rounds held on 14 October 2017 at the mall.
The challenge is on for the dancers as their every move will be judged by a pool of acclaimed dancers in the industry who have made a name for themselves, including internationally recognised performer and choreographer Sheena Seah, well-known and accomplished choreographer Zaki Ahmad, dance instructor & choreographer Alex Ow and Dee & Yusei from popular Japanese dance group – King of Swag. The dancers will be judged on their dance techniques, creativity in choreography, showmanship, musicality and outfits.
The stakes are high for the dancers as they are battling to walk away with cash prizes of up to $8,000 and a chance to be called the dance kings and queens of the All-Babes Cineleisure Dance Battle 2017!
